Mediation

There is a better way!

 

Where all seems lost the intervention of a mediator will very often bring about an agreement.  The mediation process is both transparent, in that the parties will be aware of the process from the outset, and confidential in that the content of discussions with the Mediator will not be divulged without the parties' consent. 

The mediation process is not just a “back and forth” exercise in communicating the parties’ positions and arguments on their behalf.  The mediator will use his/her experience and expertise to help the parties reach a compromise with which they are both satisfied.

Mediation requires both parties to agree to the process from the outset.  It can be applied for by either the consumer or the travel company.  We will notify the relevant party of the other’s interest in mediation.  Only in the event of both parties’ agreement to mediation in principle will the next stage in the process commence.
